What is your favorite city ?

It can be anywhere in any country. Have you done some traveling this

season ? I have. I went to Baltimore back in June 2009.

It is a nice city. But it is not my favorite. I want to know. Which

city is your favorite. Think cosmo, think energetic atmosphere.

Think nightlife, think social status, think commute time. Think

shopping venues, and outlets. Please do not forget the

restaurants and diners. And yes, if it is your favorite, it has

to be a beautiful one. For me, it is Philadelphia Pa. The City of Brotherly Love.... I love

that town. Google it if you dare......... I want to know, what

is your favorite city or place to be............What is your favorite city ?
Right now I would have to say Portland, Oregon is #1.

But I also really like Boston, Philly, NYC, SF, LA, Seattle, Chicago, NO, Denver, Anchorage and all of the many other smaller places I've been to.

Being a Canadian, I love and respect the USA more than most people who actually get to live there and take it for granted. Everywhere I go the people are much more friendly and alive compared to us lame-o Canucks, and there is a real sense of community.
myanus...thats a real city in NJWhat is your favorite city ?
In the U.S, Chicago. In Britain, Edinburgh. In continental Europe, Florence.
Plymouth MA. I actually would love to live there.

My second favorite would be Chicago.

In the UK, Woodstock. In Europe in general - Naples.
I live in Baltimore, but my 2 favorite cities in the world are Stockholm Sweden and Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

Unfortunately Philly doesnt do it for me.. Neither does Miani or Orlando.. Or LA.. Chicago however.. NICE
Well, I live in Chicago so you know my choice. Chicago has many nightclubs for the young and the old. College night is on Thursdays and Sundays and the escort service is phenomenal(ha). Summertime is usually the best time to visit Chicago, as they offer free concerts downtown and during the last week in June through the 4th of July, there is the Taste of Chicago. Best thing to ever happen to Chicago right there...ha oh yea!
I loved NYC, also San Francisco. I like Miami, but it's a bit too warm sometimes.
Toronto,Canada is the my favorite city.

thank you,stupid american.
Baltimore? Make me puke--no one likes Baltimore. Philly too is a disgusting city.

San Francisco I guess, but it has downsides too.

San Diego has a charm, but the downtown is too underdeveloped and the only livable areas are to the north and northeast, everything else is deplorable.

New Orleans was great before the storm.

The DC area is nice, but the rush hour traffic is horrendous.

edit: Chicago is the pits--it's been consistently rated one of the most miserable and stressful cities in America.

here's another good one: http://cbs2chicago.com/local/chicago.sum鈥?/a>

Ryde-On: Lake Tahoe is 1/2 hour from Reno only when they're not working on the roads--I took that drive a couple of weeks ago, got stopped for 1 hour both into and out of Reno over the mountains (1 mph for 1 hour each way--ouch). Reno was definitely worth forgetting for me.

Christian: I've been to London, Ontario! (didn't know anyone really visited there much)

Erin: I have no idea what you would love about Tampa--it's got 3x the national average of every or nearly every crime category, the beaches are lousy, and the people are hicks. (I've lived there)
well.... in usa i'd say chicago, in europe i'd have to say barcelona and in britain, well i'd say somewhere in scotland, if only it weren't for the scots, probably st davids
Well, I have visited many cities in Europe, most of them capital cities and I really must say that in my eyes none of them can hold a candle to London.

London is an incredible city and I love it with a passion.

And no, I don't live there.

However, if I had to choose a foreign city, it would have to be Amsterdam.
los angeles
Vegas to visit, not to live there. More entertainment and restaurants than anyone could ever get enough of.
Live in B-more.

Favorites are Oxford and Seville, though.
Boston is wonderful, but I also like New York. I've been to Baltimore as well and can't say it gets my vote either.....Philly has a nice vibe but I couldn't live there.

Probably my favorites are all the ones I haven't been to yet...I can still think what I want about them and dream about going....pretty much every major city in Europe lol. I would really dig the tourist-y thing---see X amount of cities in X amount of days....but i would want to be toured around by a local and see the out of the way spots, that's where all the best stuff is
Probably Reno Nevada.

It's a nice cross section of city and country.

Desert and mountains within riding distance.

Lake Tahoe is a 1/2 hour away and I like to shoot craps.
London, Ontario is beautiful, as is Toronto. Actually, so is Stratford.

But my favourite place to be is my hometown. I love it here. We don't have what a city has to offer (shopping, entertainment, etc.) but it's beautiful and clean and it's a good place to raise kids. Plus we're really close to all kinds of cool outdoorsy attractions, which I love.
Mine is Tampa, FL. There's something about that place that just resonates with me. Second place is Boston, MA, followed by my hometown of Burlington, VT.
St. Louis
