For those of you who travel with dogs in airplanes?

I may be travelling in an airplane with my parent's Maltese. I have a really long layover in Baltimore and I am wondering if anybody knows what the rules are about restaurants in the airports. Do they generally allow the dogs inside the restaurants as long as they are in their kennels?

I don't think a dog in a kennel will be problem in almost all airport restaurants and places to buy food, I wouldn't worry about it.
