What to see in Baltimore area?

I've never been to this area, and will be driving up in June. I'm hoping to go to some museums in DC, the aquarium, and anything else that's "must see". Good restaurants, shopping, etc. also!

Thanks! What to see in Baltimore area?
There is so much to see in Baltimore and D.C.

In Baltimore: Inner Harbor, Aquarium, USS Constellation, Maritime Museum, Edgar Allen Poe's House, Fort McHenry, Star Spangled Banner Flag House and Westminster Hall and Burial Grounds.

In D.C.: National Zoo, Ford's Theatre, House where Lincoln Died, The Vietnam Wall, Smithsonian Institute, Walter Reed Medical Museum (not for the squeamish), Washinton Memorial, White House, etc., etc.

We went to these places so often when we lived up north!
the aquarium is wonderful. take a little boat ride off the docks there to some great little sites and restaurants!

in d.c. go see Georgetown..and the Smithsonian is free! What to see in Baltimore area?
Go to Anapolis, great old houses and restaurants there very nice to visit. The Naval academy is there which is fun to visit. in DC anything that begins with Smithsonian or ends in Memorial or Monument is worth seeing.
Inner Harbor
THE INNER HARBOR AREA IS A MUST! YOU COULD SEE AN ORIOLES GAME, PLAYED IN ONE OF THE NICEST STADIUMS IN THE U.S., YOU COULD FOLLOW EDGAR ALLEN POE'S LIFE AND VISIT HIS GRAVE. YOU COULD TAKE A SHORT WATER TOUR IN THE HARBOR. YOU COULD GO TO ANNAPOLIS. FOR A GOOD MEAL IN BALTIMORE, GO TO THE M%26amp;S GRILLE IN ONE OF THE HARBORPLACE BUILDINGS IN THE THE INNER HARBOR AREA.
The Inner Harbor is great and just a little further is Fells Point (cool night life, shops, bars, clubs area). Little Italy is cool too.

DC has more to offer I think. Give a little more time for DC than BMore...
Inner Harbor, absolutely. Get some good seafood, too
Go see a Baltimore Oriols game. They have a beautiful ballpark and the surrounding area is quite nice as well with lots to do.
The Harbor is the main place to see things in Baltimore.

Fort McHenry, where the Star Spangeled Banner was inspired, is a cool place to visit.

Obryckis is the place to get crabs (the kind you eat).

Camden Yards is pretty cool even if you don't like baseball. It is very modern and interesting architecturally.

If you like shopping, when you are in DC, go to Georgetown and visit M Street. Lots of cool stores and a really great mall that is right along the C and O Canal.
go to the inner Harbor it is awesome, good food, great places to shop, and if u like sports go to the ESPN Zone
