Best restaurant in Baltimore MD?

I am driving down to South Carolina from NY and need to plan some pit stops, any suggestions along the way????Best restaurant in Baltimore MD?
Assuming that you wish to eat anything besides fast food and keep going....



How about the Red Brick Station which is right off Exit 67 of I-95. From the exit, make a left at the first light. Turn left into the Avenue at White Marsh and the Restaurant will be plainly visible. They service English pub fare and make their own beer and IMHO a lot easier to get to and find parking from I-95 then Greektown or even the Harbor.



Now, if you're planning overnight stops, you could explore the places mentioned by other posters. I would suggest Kibby's. Take Exit 50 North from I-95, Caton Ave. With St. Agnes Hospital on your left, make a left onto Wilkens Ave. About 1/2 mile down the hill on the right side, Kibby's is in a shopping center. They make excellent shrimp salad.
Thank you very much. I have passed by many places while on the road because they did not offer quality food but you can be in and out of the Red Brick Station in less than an hour if they aren't terribly busy. Have fun and enjoy.

Best restaurant in Baltimore MD?
Greek Village on Eastern Avenue around Dundalk. EVERYTHING'S GREAT and REASONABLE. Also good are the Broadway Diner, nearby and also on Eastern Avenue; Good cheap homemade food, the Sip and Bite at the foot of Boston Street near Fells Point. Absolute hole-in-the-wall decent homemade food, Mike's Place on the Avenue in Hampden. Hell, I could go on and on with quirky, great Baltimore eateries. Most of the bars at Fells Point are decent as well. Stop me; I'm getting the urge to go to Baltimore again!
Depends on the type of cuisine you like.



In addition to those listed, I'd suggest a trip to Obrycki's Crab House and Seafood Restaurant. They reopen for the season on March 13, 2007. Some may not consider them the best, but they're well worth the money and not far from the harbor. http://www.obryckis.com/obr/stores/1/ind鈥?/a>

The absolutely best crab cakes are at G%26amp;M Restaurant just off the Baltimore beltway. I hesitated recommending them not because of their food, which is fantastic, but it's not a fancy looking place and it's not in a tony neighborhood, but oh, the crabcakes. http://www.gandmcrabcakes.com/ If authentic Maryland/Chesapeake seafood is what you're looking for, look no further.



If you've been to Baltimore's famous Inner Harbor, I'd suggest a trip to Ft. McHenry, birthplace of the Star-Spangled Banner. http://www.nps.gov/fomc

For a choice of several good restaurants go to the Inner Harbor. It is very easy to get to off of I-95 to I-395 to Inner Harbor exit.
