I live in Baltimore, and I am planning to go to NYC again this year for my birthday. I plan on living in New York after graduation, and I go a couple of times throughout the year (including my birthday) to familiarize myself with the city, but every place I go to eat always seems so touristy. Where can I go? I want somewhere that has a nice atmosphere for my friends and I to enjoy dinner on my birthday.Where are the best sit-in style restaurants to eat in NYC?
Ellen's Stardust Diner. It's gotten expensive since I last went there, but it's very fun and has great atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses perform song and dance numbers and they show different clips of movies and TV shows on a large screen towards the back. You'll have a blast and the food is very good too.
