Whats a better city two visit, Baltimore or Boston?

I want a city with lots of nightlife and a beautiful skyline. Lots of shopping, restaurants, ect.



People are telling me Boston without a doubt, why do people like Boston more?Whats a better city two visit, Baltimore or Boston?
I have been to both

Boston is easily way better than Baltimore

more to see , more to do, lower crime, more stuff in the suburbs (if you wish to travel outside the city)

Boston is very cool, very hip, and very progressive, and very beautiful

Baltimore is just another city, it has a few sights, some shopping and restaurants, but not like Boston. The two cities are not in the same league when it comes to tourism.

However, don't ever go to Boston in the winter

Given those two choices, I concur: Boston is much better. Baltimore has no skyline to speak of: if you saw it out of context, would you recognize it? Baltimore is very business oriented and apparently denies the arts in its design. It feels very blue collar, even in the financial district.



Boston has a great cultural mix of many good colleges and universities, artists, and鈥攜es鈥攂usiness. But they've done a good job of highlighting the Charles River, for example, and providing pretty places for people to be, even amongst the skyscrapers.
