Are therer any AUTHENTIC SPANISH Tapas restaurants in the Baltimore/Washington Area?

I'm not looking for uber-trendy wine bars that just serve "little" food. We're looking for the standard cheese, calamari, spicy potatoes, etc... that you would get in Madrid. Does ANYONE locally have this food??Are therer any AUTHENTIC SPANISH Tapas restaurants in the Baltimore/Washington Area?
Have you tried any of the Jaleo locations?
I can tell you from both personal experience and positive anecdotal accounts that Baltimore's PAZO is an exceptional Tapas restaurant. Marrying the romance of the Mediterranean with the sophistication of the city, restaurateurs Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolf's PAZO offers the city's most intriguing %26amp; indulgent casual dining. Expect cuisine with the hedonistic soul of the rustic Spanish coast %26amp; Italian isles at an unprecedented dining %26amp; dancing venue in the heart of the city.

If the dancing (which usually does not commence until 9-10:00 at the earliest) turns you off, note that the venue is rather large: two-leveled with a capacity to seat guests at tables effectively removed from any unwanted loudness or activity.

Noteworthy: PAZO is one of the four restaurants in Baltimore City owned and directed by the city's most highly acclaimed and awarded above-referenced restaurateurs, Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolf (married). PAZO, specifically, is the pride, joy, and focus of Mr. Foreman.

You might consider TAPAS TEATRO, which claims to be Baltimore's first Spanish Tapas restaurant. I cannot provide a fist hand experience of dining here; though I have heard positive accounts of people's experiences there.

Unfortunately, I can't speak much about either restaurants Spanish authenticity; although, I would venture to say that both hit the mark at least reasonably well. If authenticity is truly paramount, I would advise contacting the restaurants' ma卯tre d''s in advance to submit your preferences. I reckon that PAZO, especially, will be happy accommodate them any way they can.

I hope this answer was at least somewhat helpful...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD DINING!
