Olive Grove is a Mediteranean style restaurant that has incredible crab cakes and a family-style ambiance. This is not a chain; it's family run and service there can be tricky on busy nights. Food is great although it is definitely not cheap. Located near the airport on Linthicum. I just mail ordered a dozenof their crab cakes. Yeh!

The best restaurant is The Prime Rib.
"not too high priced" is kind of nebulous, but steak entrees there are in the $30-45 range.
A little bit less that that is Gertrude's at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
Or the Brass Elephant.
Or the Rusty Scupper (harbor). Although it is a chain it is nice.

The Bicycle in Federal Hill is nice - a little on the pricey side.
Pazo is in Fell's Point - it's a tapas restaurant, so you can get several small plates and share.
Another place I discovered recently is called the Chameleon Cafe in NE Balt. on Harford Road. It's a great place, reasonable prices.
