My husband and I are in desperate need of a weekend away. We are looking for a place that is driving distance from the Baltimore/Harford County, MD area... it can be anywhere...we'd love to even find a small little town... just a place with some shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc. We're not interested in going to OC bc it's just too busy for us this time of year... suggestions?? Staunton VA is worth a look although it maybe a bit far for a weekend

Mr Danger had a good idea. Try Front Royal VA about 3 and a half hour drive it is the gateway to the Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park.
