I went to a place called "Green Republic" during my vacation to Key West, FL a couple weeks ago. I can't stop thinking about the delicious vegetarian Cuban sandwich I had!Favorite Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurant?
If you are ever in Los Angeles, you must try Native Foods. They are all over and their food/desserts are delicious! I am lactose in-tolerant and they have tons of selection of dairy free items that taste amazing. And delicious desserts made with Agave (No Sugar).
that's cool! but i did have a vegetarian lasagna by stouffers! it was delish!
ps. im cuban!

Ben's ChilI Bowl (for good reason they have a great veggie chili but more importantly they are a community restaurant surviving a riot that destroyed just about everything around them and construction of a subway system as well as various other factors, oh and they are in D.C. no they are not a vegetarian restaurant they serve meat it is what they are famous for but their veggie chili is really good and their history is even better) http://www.benschilibowl.com/
Maryland Food Co-Op (my friends and comrades at UMCP in MD) http://www.marylandfoodcollective.org/
These are some of my favorites from around the east coast but there are more. I am lucky enough to get too travel for various activist events and try the local vegan places and NYC has the bulk of them they have a thick book full of not vegetarian restaurants but vegan restaurants exclusively and they sell it for 10 bucks because of it's size...insanity!
