Ocean pointe suites, Tavernier, near key largo?

Hi has anyone stayed here? Is there a lot to do in the area, shopping, bars, restaurants etc? we wanted to stay somewhere where we could visit miami and key westOcean pointe suites, Tavernier, near key largo?
I myself have not been to the Ocean Pointe Suites but from my understanding many people have approved of this place and would return back.

You can go to TripAdvisor.com and read comments from past guests. They also have destination guides.



You might want to recheck on distances from Largo to KW and Miami. I don't think it's really that close to either. Driving in the Keys can be slow because there's only one road and if there's traffic or some kind of hold-up, you're "stuck".
