Can anyone help me think of a holiday destination please?! :-)?

I want to go away next year and really need ideas!

I'm 26 and I've only been abroad 4 times so I have limited knowledge of what i like and don't like!

Basic info:

%26gt; I will have a budget of about 拢1,000-拢1,500 for everything including spending money.

%26gt; I'm not really interested in Europe for this holiday due to the time of year and preferring a hot country!

%26gt; I like to do lots of things in one holiday (i.e. beach then city then culture)

Two places I've been to and loved are Mykonos and Key West. I liked having bars and restaurants to go to, without it being too 'clubby'.

I wanted to go to Australia, but I don't think 拢1,000 is enough!

I was looking at Cancun but think it might be too brash.

Now I'm looking at Thailand. Maybe see two or three places over 10-14 nights. I've found flights for 拢500, which leaves about 拢500 or a bit more for hotels and spending money.... Anyone been to Thailand and know if this is ridiculous?!

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas or stories about places they've loved and why, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!

:-)

You say not Europe, have you thought of Tenerife, it doesn't have to be the noisy larger lout area, the island is mainly Mountainous with lovely forests.

It's ideal for rock climbers. The local authorities have been working hard to mark out a lot of wonderful walking routes which take you through a lot of beautiful country side and historic places, yes Tenerife has a lot of history.

If you prefer the coast, then there are lot's of walks and idyllic little bays away from the maddening crowds.

All this can be done all year round in warm weather.

Of course if you want a holiday going to night clubs until 5am in the morning and then sleeping until mid day, then sun bathing all afternoon, then just go to Playa De Las Americas.

For the not so energetic who just want to relax, try Puerto De La Cruz, lovely quiet relaxing holiday place, full of lovely plaza's to have a coffee.

Tenerife has most of everything on the Island depending on what you want.
i think India is a good destination for your holiday because of its culture and heritage like Taj Mahal , camel safari in Rajasthan, trekking in leh Ladakh hills, forts in Jaipur and Agra, Delhi, Goa beaches, Deccan train tour, Kashmir, shimla and manali

feel the hospitality of indians and feels its incredible cultures, ancient cultures, incredible heritage , come to incredible India and enjoy your holidayCan anyone help me think of a holiday destination please?! :-)?
Hi,

You should go to the paradise islands of the Philippines.

This may help!

For those who are interested to read a "Candid and Amusing" Philippine travel guide entitled "Amazing Archipelago," just click on the website below for more information:

i have recently been to "sea club" alcudia. it was very nice.

enjoy your holiday anyway
You could go to India . It's a nice place , but don't underestimate it because of the poverty there . I'm sure you'll love the culture and festivals . Goa has cool beaches . Look up the travel packages .
dubia, if you like culture ,sun and tradition, and lovely people ,just say miss scotland sent you
l.a or miami its poping over there !

enjoy your trip
I would recommend you to go through online travel portals which give you good offers as you have mentioned a budget and you can according to your preferences provide you the destination. Also, if you are looking for a specific type of holiday where you want to get acquainted with culture or are an adventurous person and want to choose a destination accordingly. They might be able to provide you information with that as well. And that information can come handy while making a decision
