Quite a few years ago i lived in Miami, I used to drive down to the keys pretty regularly. there was this great sea food place called the Quay. I think it may have been in Key Largo, but it is definitely worth the drive.
There aren't many real good restaurants in Key West although Kelly's is pretty good. Is is own by the chick that was in Top Gun with that fag Tom Cruise. I know the chef at The Hilton(I think it is still a Hilton) down by Mallory Square and the food is ok. If you can get on Sunset Key (that's the key out in the water that you can see from Mallory Square) The food is supposed to good. Actually Oprah has been there and she raves about it.
I agree with the previous answer. My boyfriend and I went to Kelly's and it was excellent! Great menu, service and relaxed atmosphere....
