What is the perfect beach campground in South Florida with attractions, restaurants, city nearby?

I am looking to go camping with 3 other people (4 adults in total) and we're looking for a great campground that MUST have a nice beach. We're looking for a campground either in the Florida Keys, Naples/Fort Myers, or Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton/West Palm Beach. There definitely also has to be things to do around the campground, but not expensive, like hiking trails, shopping areas, MUST have restaurants, anddd whatever else there is to do around a campground. Thanks so much in advance!!What is the perfect beach campground in South Florida with attractions, restaurants, city nearby?
Long Key State Park, in the Florida Keys. Google it. I guarantee you you've never seen anything like it. Your campsite is literally on the Atlantic Ocean, a few feet from the sand. Last time I was there, my site was secluded, not visible from any of the other sites, yet we were all strung out along the same stretch of ocean. It's like being on a SouthSea Island. When you want a change of pace, hop in the car and drive south to Key West...another truly unique spot in all the world. In fact, the drive down there is probably the only one like it in the world...you literally drive 125 miles out into the ocean. Make sure you plan the drive for the daytime...unforgettable views, etc. Key west is sort of like a tropical island version of the New Orleans French Quarter...really a cool place to see...dozens of great places to eat, things to do, etc. Welcome to paradise! What is the perfect beach campground in South Florida with attractions, restaurants, city nearby?
Thanks so much! That definitely helps a lot. I have been looking, and Long Key State Park has been at the top of my list so far. It's always nice to get a good recommendation though, especially from a "local yokel" like yourself. lol
