This year, though, we are celebrating my sweet 16, and i am bringing my best friend for half of our stay in Disney. She will be staying with us from the 16- 21.
We are staying from the 16-23 in a 2 bedroom villa at Beach Club- and the last couple night we are spending in the 3bedroom grand villa at Old Key West (we are DVC members at this resort)
The thing is i am 15 and i've been to disney 27 times, so im pertty well oriented with the place, and i need some help figuring out what are some musts for first time goers. I realise i will need to slow down and let my friend enjoy the park since evertyhign will be completely new for her. but what are somethings that i ( having gone many times) might over look that a first timer would enjoy.
Additionally, what are some of ur favorite restaurants to eat at when on vacation there, some of my favorites are
-Sci Fi
-Whispering Canyon
-Cape May Buffet
-Hoop De Doo
-Mamma Mel Roses
-Crystal Palace
I would like to try a few new restaurants on this trip though, so can u reccomend some of your favorites.
And lastly what are some extra specia ways to celebrate my birthday while there. I know about the buttons and all that, i am looking for something like the grand gathering illuminations party, but we dont have enough ppl to qualify for that, so do u have any suggestions
Sorry this was long, and probably a bit confusin, but thanks for any help you can offer :DMy friends first time to disney, what should i know?
Your friend is likely going to enjoy your expertise and the fact that you will know the ropes. She probably isn't going to miss anything in particular. You might consider giving her a guidebook as a gift, so she can pick out a few things herself. But I wouldn't worry much. Just do what you normally do, and she'll have a blast. Remember that if there are any attractions that are not your favorites and you don't normally do, or maybe you only do them every few trips, she might really enjoy them, so stop at them, too.
You have a good list of restaurants. You might want to try some of the restaurants in the resorts for something different - and often, less crowded.
