Should I Replace My Truck?

I Own a restaurant and catering company in Baltimore Maryland. We have 4 custom made catering trucks that cost apx. $35,000.00 each. Our oldest truck, a 94' dodge dakota is starting to have alot of problems. The transmission is starting to shift very roughly, it doesn鈥檛 have much acceleration. The hood is starting to rust, I need new ball bearings on the front two wheels, and just yesterday the rpm gauge started acting very weird and somestimes dosent move at all. My question, should I replace this truck with a new truck that will cost $37,000.00, or spend 10,000$ to totally overhaul the truck.

You can view pictures of the truck at:

It is the truck with the pink lettering.

I suspect that this a trick question. You want everyone to look at your website? The food does look good. I've seen this question on here before and you got some good answers.

Go ahead and replace it, you should be making tons of money from food that looks that good.
That depends on many factors. A newer truck will always give better peace of mind. And what does the $10k buy exactly? Who is telling you the cost? Is this person trust worth?

If your business can afford it (and write off some cost) and you can sell the old truck and get some money back - I would think that it would be worth it. After all a broken down truck and make you lose business and / or your business reputation.

Good Luck..Should I Replace My Truck?
just get a new one cause you'll just keep on having problems with it.
